Bang out of Order Theatre Company presentsa new play written by Suzanne Lakes and directed by by Geraldine McAlinden
Mary is a homeless, streetwise woman who has survived most of her life on the streets, ducking and diving just to make ends meet. She spends her days with Frankie, a man abandoned by his wife and children due to his fetish about dressing up in womens clothes and his highfalutin dreams of becoming a world class entertainer. They befriend Dee, a naive but kind hearted vunerable woman who passes her time with them to escape the drudgery of her home life and her domineering alcoholic sister. This highly comical, but touching play portrays how the power of friendship, unconditional love and acceptance of others, regardless of their background, can heal even the most wounded and rejected souls in society and awaken them to the possibility of renewed hope and a brighter future.
